GCDC Dances

The GCDC held over fifty dances between 1981 and 1992. Dances were advertised to the lesbian and gay community in Toronto in the form of double-sided handbills, which were also used as posters. One side featured a unique design related to the dance theme; the other listed participating groups, their mandate, and their contact information. Volunteers distributed these handbills around the city with particular attention to the Church Street area.
